Hengan Group Donates Supplies worth about 2 Million Chinese Yuan to Rescue the Earthquake-stricken Area in Syria and Turkey

Hengan Group donates supplies which worth about 2 Million Chinese Yuan (about 290,000 U.S. dollars) to earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey.

The donation includes 1.8 million Space7 sanitary pads and 780,000 Anerle diapers. On March 1^st, Hengan Group responded to the emergency aid initiative by the China Charity Federation and the Fujian Charity Federation. and donated 2 million yuan worth of supplies to women and children affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, to help with post-disaster reconstruction in both countries. Currently, the truck loaded with supplies has been sent to the embassies of Syria and Turkey in China.

In the early hours of Monday (February 6^th ,2023), a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit a wide area in the south-eastern Turkey and Northern Syrian, causing significant casualties and property losses in both countries and touching the hearts of billions of people worldwide. Many enterprises have also extended their support to the affected areas.

It is reported that the materials donated by charity organizations and caring enterprises to the disaster areas mostly consist of tents, medicines, food, drinking water, and medical equipment, while the urgent need for sanitary products for women and children has been largely ignored. Due to the limited sanitation conditions in the earthquake-stricken areas, the risk of disease has increased, and personal hygiene cannot be underestimated. Sanitary products such as sanitary pads for women and diapers for children have become a top priority.
